Context
My personal brand grew in pieces: two domains (dineshkoyyalamudi.com and 46dc.com), different handles on different platforms, and profiles written at different times that described me in different ways. Nothing on the web told Google or an AI assistant that these all belonged to one person.
Problem
Search engines and AI assistants build their picture of a person from consistent facts and clear links between profiles. With two domains, mixed handles and no structured data connecting them, there was no single entity to recognise, so answers about Dinesh Koyyalamudi or 46DC could come out incomplete or confused.
What was done
- —One primary domain, 46dc.com, with dineshkoyyalamudi.com redirecting to it
- —One handle, @the46dc, across Instagram, X, YouTube and LinkedIn
- —Person and Organization schema tied together by @id
- —The same facts stated identically on the site, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn and foursix46.com
Result
One domain, one handle and one set of facts, so search engines and AI assistants have a single, consistent entity to read.
