1. About this policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on www.46dc.com and www.dineshkoyyalamudi.com, and how you can control them. Please read it with the Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels in emails, work in a similar way. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.
3. Your choice
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or choose by category. Non-essential cookies are only set after you accept them. Rejecting them does not stop the websites or bookings from working.
You can change your choice at any time using the cookie button in the corner of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the websites may then not work properly.
4. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
These are needed for the websites to work or for a service you have asked for. They do not need your consent.
- cookieyes-consent (CookieYes): remembers your cookie choice. Lasts 1 year.
- Booking and payment cookies (Cal.com and Stripe): when you open the booking calendar on the /book page, it is loaded from Cal.com, and when you pay, the payment form is provided by Stripe. They set cookies needed to run the booking securely and to prevent fraud. These are set only when you use the booking calendar, and are covered by Cal.com’s and Stripe’s own policies.
Analytics (only with your consent)
Google Analytics 4 helps me understand how visitors use the websites, such as which pages are read and how people arrive, so I can improve them. It is only switched on if you accept analytics cookies.
- _ga (Google Analytics): tells visits apart. Lasts 2 years.
- _ga_<ID> (Google Analytics): keeps the state of a visit. Lasts 2 years.
Google Analytics does not store full IP addresses. Data is kept for up to 14 months. Google’s use of this data is explained in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Embedded content (only with your consent)
Some pages include YouTube videos. YouTube, owned by Google, may set cookies and collect viewing data when a video loads or plays, so these videos are only loaded after you accept this category.
5. Newsletter emails
If you subscribe to the newsletter, the emails sent through Brevo contain small tracking pixels and tracked links that show whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. This is explained when you subscribe and is part of the newsletter you consented to. You can stop it by unsubscribing, or by turning off automatic image loading in your email app.
6. Changes to this policy
I update this policy when the cookies used on the websites change. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
