What I Scope First Before Building Anything

Look at the ventures under FourSix46® right now and they're not all in the same state, and that's deliberate. Route46 Couriers is live. Stack46 is live. FourSix46® itself is live. Cinevenn is built and pre-launch, waiting on Phase 1 in India. 46 Dogs has a landing page live while the full platform is still in development. None of that is behind schedule — it's what disciplined scoping actually looks like when you're honest about it in public.

Why I don't launch everything at once

The instinct, when you're building more than one thing, is to want them all visibly moving at the same pace — it feels like proof you're not behind. I've decided that's the wrong thing to optimise for. Cinevenn is the largest platform in the ecosystem, and it's exactly because of that scale that it's staying pre-launch until Phase 1 in India is actually ready, rather than shipping a thinner version everywhere just to say it's live. 46 Dogs went out as a landing page first, on purpose, because the mission — being the voice for street dogs who can't speak for themselves — didn't need to wait on the full platform to start existing publicly.

Each of those is a scoping decision, not a delay. The version that goes live first is the smallest true thing that's actually ready, not the most impressive thing I could describe.

What "ready" actually means to me

Route46 Couriers went live because the thing it needed to do — book a courier, match a driver, deliver same day — worked, end to end, for a real customer. Not because every feature I could imagine for it was built. Stack46's own take on this, from the engineering side, is in what actually drives MVP cost — the short version is that most overspending happens when "minimum" quietly becomes "everything I'd eventually want."

I apply the same discipline to myself that I ask Stack46 to apply to a client project: what's the actual thing being tested, and what's the least that needs to exist to test it honestly.
