I Came to the UK to Study. I Stayed to Build.

In September 2022, I landed in Cardiff, Wales, with a place at Cardiff Metropolitan University to study Information Technology. That was the plan. Study. Graduate. Figure out the next step.
I graduated in 2023. And then I did something I hadn't fully planned.
I stayed.
Not to find work. Not to explore. I stayed because somewhere between arriving in the UK and finishing a Masters degree, I had made a decision I hadn't quite articulated yet: I was going to build something here.
The Decision That Was Always Coming
Working for someone was never the plan — not seriously, not for long. That's not arrogance. It's just clarity. I'd known it for a while.
The UK gave me the space, the legal structure, and the distance from everything familiar that made it possible to commit to that clarity without distraction. Coming from Andhra Pradesh, India — where the pull of family expectations and conventional paths is real — having physical distance created mental space.
In September 2025 — two years after graduating, three years after arriving — I registered FourSix46® Global Ltd in London. Company No. 16712658. It wasn't a dramatic moment. It was just the formal step of something that had already been decided.
Why Cardiff, Then London
Cardiff was where the foundation was built — not just academically, but personally. It's where I started playing cricket in the UK, captaining a side in weekly T20 matches and competing in a league I'd never been part of before. It's where I started understanding how a country works from the inside, rather than as a visitor.
London was the natural next step. FourSix46® Global Ltd is registered at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA — Shoreditch, one of the most recognisable founder and technology postcodes in the country. That matters — not for vanity, but because the entity I'm building needs to be anchored somewhere real.
The UK Is Where This Gets Built
I could have gone back to India. I could have built from there — and in some ways, I am. Cinevenn's Phase 1 launches in India. 46 Dogs is a mission rooted in the streets I grew up around.
But FourSix46® as a parent brand, as a registered entity, as a legal structure — this is a UK company. Built in the UK, registered in the UK, growing in the UK.
That's a deliberate choice. The UK's legal and business infrastructure, the credibility that comes with being a properly registered company here — these are not small things. They're part of the foundation that every venture beneath FourSix46® stands on.
What Staying Actually Means
Coming to a new country to study is one thing. Deciding to stay and build something permanent is another.
It means your decisions have weight. It means you're not passing through. It means when you put your name on a company, you're putting your name on something that has to earn its place in the country where it's registered.
I take that seriously.
FourSix46® is not a company I registered because it was convenient. It's a long-term commitment — to London, to the UK, and to a standard of building that the parent brand has to live up to.
I came to the UK to study. I stayed to build.
That's the simplest way to say it. And it's still true every day I'm still here.
